Most of my experience comes from eight years running operations at a family-owned firestop subcontractor in Colorado, plus international projects during my master's.

Time tracking & payroll rollout

Problem: Paper timesheets led to inaccurate hours and payroll waste.
What I did: Chose and rolled out a digital time-tracking system (BusyBusy) and trained field crews to use it.
Result: An estimated $100,000 in yearly labor savings, better cash flow, and accurate data for decisions.

Billing process fix

60% less manual billing

Problem: Slow, error-prone invoicing and missed payments.
What I did: Organized and cleaned up the billing system and cut the back-and-forth between job sites and the office.
Result: Faster, more consistent billing with fewer errors, and a base for better financial tracking.

Job costing & billing software migration

In progress

Problem: Job costing and billing data needed to live in one system the whole team could use.
What I did: Leading the move from Siteline to ControlCore, and onboarding and training an outside bookkeeper on the new workflows.
Goal: One reliable source for job costs and billing.

Office restructure

In progress

Problem: Admin work was bottlenecked as the company grew.
What I did: Streamlining workflows, defining roles to cut overlap, and improving coordination between admin, field, and leadership.
Goal: A more scalable office with less admin load and faster turnaround.

International project · 2025

Latin America regulatory compliance database

3 countries covered

Problem: Natural food and beverage companies needed a clear view of import rules in new markets.
What I did: Led the full build of a compliance database covering Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala.
Result: A central, easy-to-navigate tool for lower-risk market entry. Now in talks to commercialize it.

Startup launch sprint

COO, 5-person team

Problem: Build and pitch a new venture in a few weeks with a team from several countries.
What I did: Led market research, Excel financial modeling, user surveys, and Figma wireframes for an AI sports-matching app for travelers.
Result: A validated concept and investor pitch, delivered by a team aligned across cultures.
